- If the stool is not solid and there is excessive dampness, remove Chinese Angelica and add Chinese Yam;
- If there is severe phlegm and qi stagnation, with discomfort in the chest and hypochondrium, add white mustard seed 2.1~2.8 grams;
- If there is severe pudendal coldness and the cough does not heal, add Asarum 1.5~2.1 grams;
- If there is an accompanying exterior pathogen with cold and heat, add Bupleurum 3~6 grams.
