bubble_chart Formula Principles
In the formula, Astragalus Root serves as the monarch herb, tonifying the middle and replenishing qi, raising yang and securing the exterior. Ginseng, White Atractylodes Rhizome, and Liquorice Root, with their sweet and warm properties, tonify qi and strengthen the spleen and stomach, acting as the minister herbs. Dried Tangerine Peel regulates qi movement, while Chinese Angelica tonifies blood and harmonizes the nutrient level, serving as the assistant herbs. Cimicifuga Rhizome and Bupleurum work together with Ginseng and Astragalus to uplift clear yang, acting as the envoy herbs. Overall, the formula tonifies qi and invigorates the spleen, ensuring the source of postnatal generation and transformation, thereby curing various syndromes of spleen and stomach qi deficiency. Additionally, it uplifts the middle qi, restoring the ascending and descending functions of the middle energizer, allowing conditions of prolapse and sinking to return to their proper positions.
