Soak the above two ingredients in a urine vat for forty-nine days, then take them out, bake them dry, and grind them into powder. If the wound has not broken the skin, mix the powder with wine and apply it to the affected area. If the wound is bleeding, sprinkle the powder directly on it. For severe injuries or internal damage, in addition to applying or sprinkling the powder, add medicinal guides: for the head and chest, use 6 grams of Chuanxiong (Ligusticum wallichii); for the limbs, use 6 grams of Guizhi (Cinnamon twigs); for the waist and abdomen, use 6 grams of Duzhong (Eucommia bark); for the thighs, use 6 grams of Niuxi (Achyranthes root). Boil these ingredients into a concentrated decoction and mix with about 150 ml of ash-free yellow wine, then take 3 grams of the powder with the mixture. For mild injuries, weak constitutions, or children, administer 1.8 to 2.1 grams of the powder mixed with liquid.
