The syndrome treated by this formula pertains to dual deficiency of qi and blood. In the formula, Ginseng and Astragalus Root tonify qi; Chinese Angelica Root, Prepared Rehmannia Root, and Sichuan Lovage Rhizome tonify blood and enrich yin.
