bubble_chart Composition Chuanxiong 1,000 gm, Danggui 1,000 gm
bubble_chart Preparation and Dosage
Take 250 gm each of Ligusticum chuanxiong (Chuanxiong) and Angelica sinensis (Danggui), grind them into coarse powder, place in an earthenware pot, add water, and boil until concentrated. Administer frequently while warm. Take the remaining 750 gm each of Chuanxiong and Danggui, cut into large pieces, place in an incense burner, and burn slowly over low heat to produce smoke. Inhale the smoke through the mouth, nose, and affected breast. After one batch of medicine is burned, observe the condition. If not fully recovered or only slightly improved, repeat the decoction and smoke inhalation as before. If still not fully recovered, grind one castor bean with cold water, apply it to the Baihui point on the top of the head, and wash it off after a short while. This may also lead to complete recovery.
