True yang is exhausted below, and deficient yang is collapsing above, leading to sudden convulsive syncope, a red tongue, a bluish complexion, eyes closed and mouth open, hands unable to grasp firmly, hoarse voice and shortness of breath, even profuse cold sweating, reversal cold of hands and feet, involuntary loss of urine and stool, faint breath, deep and hidden pulse, or a weak and lifeless pulse, or a pulse that does not respond to touch.
