Willd.) or the concentrated decoction of the stems and leaves of other plants. Black Catechu is distributed in Yunnan, Guangxi, and other regions. Black Catechu Uncaria is found in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and other areas. The best quality is characterized by a black color with reddish-brown hues, high viscosity, a glossy appearance, bubbling when burned over a flame, and a fragrant aroma.
