bubble_chart Indications

Yang jaundice is associated with an exterior pattern. Symptoms include fever and chills, absence of sweating, generalized itching, a yellow-orange discoloration of the body, and a floating, slippery pulse.

bubble_chart Formula Principles

In the formula, Ephedra, Bitter Apricot Seed, and Fresh Ginger Rhizome disperse the exterior pathogen and release stagnant heat; Forsythia and raw Catalpa bark, along with Rice Bean, clear and purge heat and dampness; Chinese Date and Liquorice Root regulate the spleen and stomach. The combination of these herbs promotes the free flow of the exterior and interior, allowing dampness-heat to be cleared and expelled, resolving the exterior and harmonizing the interior, thus curing jaundice.
