. The body temperature returned to normal the next day, and the red and white mucus in the stool disappeared on the second day after taking the medication. Diarrhea, abdominal pain, tenesmus, and abdominal tenderness all disappeared by the third day after taking the medication. A total of six doses of Pulsatilla Decoction were taken. Subsequent cultures were negative twice, and the patient recovered after seven days.
