Chen, female, 20 years old, diagnosed on April 2, 1979. Suffering from recurrent chronic tonsillitis for over 3 years. Two weeks prior, due to a common cold, she experienced throat obstruction and pain, difficulty swallowing, red and swollen tonsils, a red tongue with a greasy coating, and a slippery and rapid pulse.
