Tongue coating is thin and white, pulse manifestation is wiry and slippery. Prescribed Fresh Ginger Heart-Draining Decoction:
Fresh Ginger Rhizome 12g, Skullcap Root 10g, Coptis Root 4.5g, Tangshen 10g, Pinellia 15g, Raw Liquorice Root 10g, Dried Ginger 3g, Chinese Date 4 pieces (pitted)
. Take one decoction daily. After 6 doses, symptoms such as epigastric pain, dry belching, foul-smelling burps, and borborygmi significantly improved. After another 12 doses, symptoms like epigastric pain mostly disappeared, tongue coating turned thin and white, and the wiry pulse manifestation lessened. Another 6 doses were given for follow-up. A total of 28 doses were adjusted and taken, leading to recovery.
