bubble_chart Description Chen Ziming, courtesy name Liangfu, was a native of Linchuan, Fuzhou (now part of Jiangxi). He was a gynecologist during the Southern Song Dynasty. Coming from a family with three generations of medical practitioners, he served as a medical professor at the Mingdao Academy in Jiankang Prefecture. He traveled extensively throughout the southeast, seeking medical literature and gathering the strengths of various schools of thought. Incorporating his family's medical experience, he compiled the 24-volume "Furen Daquan Liangfang" in 1237, which detailed treatments and care for women's menstrual regulation, pregnancy, parturition, and postpartum recovery. He also authored "Waiwai Jingyao," which made significant contributions to the field of surgical treatment.
