A physician of the Southern Song Dynasty, from Shanyin (now part of Zhejiang), who served as an official in Huainan and as the governor of Hanyang. In his spare time, he was devoted to the study of medicine and authored the Shizhai Baiyi Xuanfang in twenty volumes, which was published and circulated. A manuscript copy of this work exists today.
