bubble_chart Description Chen Jia-mo (1486–1570), courtesy name Tingcai, art name Yuepeng, was a native of Shishu, Xixiang (now Erdu, Xiaolukou Town). Due to poor health and frequent illnesses in his youth, he delved into the study of medicine. Endowed with natural intelligence and a broad range of talents, he achieved accomplishments in poetry, prose, calligraphy, and mathematics, with particularly profound expertise in medicine. Chen Jia-mo dedicated himself to the study of medicine, especially materia medica, and authored two books: "Yixue Zhinan" and "Bencao Mengquan."
