Tu Ren-jie, styled Junfu, was a native of Jiashan during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. He was erudite and had a strong memory, adept at drawing on the strengths of various schools. In the 53rd year of Qianlong (1788 AD), he authored the ten-volume "Cold-Damage Disease Classic Interpretation". This book compiles the excellent interpretations of the "Cold-Damage Disease Treatise" by previous scholars, supplemented with his own insights, making it a valuable reference for studying Zhang Zhongjing's theories.
