Originally from Gui'an (present-day Huzhou City), later moved to Wulin (present-day Hangzhou City), and spent his final years in Pinghu Zhapu. A physician during the Qianlong and Jiaqing eras (1743–1821). He extensively studied and compiled content from the "Inner Canon," "Classic of Difficulties," "Treatise on Cold Damage Diseases," and systematically collected works such as Ye Shi's "Wenre Lun" and Xue Shi's "Shire Tiaobian," resulting in the four-volume "Ganzheng Jiyi," a rare and valuable document for the study of warm diseases.
