bubble_chart Description Zhang Zhen-jun (courtesy name Xiao-shan and Guang-wen, adopted the sobriquet Tilizi), a medical scholar of the Qing Dynasty, was a native of Baoxing County, Jiangsu Province. He devoted himself to the study of Lingshu and Suwen, as well as the works of renowned physicians throughout history, thus mastering the art of medicine. When Zhang Yanli obtained a copy of Tuina Yaojue (Essential Techniques of Massage), a treasured work by Zhou Yufan of the Ming Dynasty, from his cousin—who had kept it for twenty years—Zhenjun revised, edited, and expanded the text. He renamed it Lizheng Anmo Yaoshu (Revised Essential Techniques of Massage) and published it for widespread circulation.
