Shen Jin-ao, a native of Wuxi during the Qing Dynasty, styled himself Qian Lü and was a tribute student. He was erudite and versatile, with an insatiable thirst for knowledge. He studied the "Book of Songs" and the "Book of Documents" under Hua Ximin, the "Book of Changes" under Qin Huitian, and the "Spring and Autumn Annals" under Gu Donggao. He authored works such as "Casual Notes on the Book of Documents." In his later years, he devoted himself to the study of medicine and was known in his twilight years as the Elder of Zunsheng. He wrote the "Shen's Zunsheng Book" in 72 volumes, "Fuke Yuchi," and others, totaling seven works.
