Yan Xiaozhong , a pediatric physician of the Northern Song Dynasty. Also known as Ji Zhong , styled Ziqin , from Xuchang (now Xuchang, Henan), also known as a person from Daliang (now Kaifeng, Henan). He once served as a Xuanjiao Lang. He was often ill in his childhood and was cured by the famous pediatric physician Qian Yi . As he grew older, he delved deeply into the medical techniques of Qian , thus mastering pediatrics. He collected various medical prescriptions and works of Qian , compiling them into three volumes of "Xiao'er Yaozheng Zhijue". He also authored one volume of "Chong Guang Bao Sheng Xin Xiao Fang", which has been lost.
