Volume one mainly discusses the considerations for pediatricians and the specific applications of massage therapy; volume two discusses facial inspection and diseases of newborns; volume three covers fright epilepsy and related conditions; volume four includes measles, cold-damage disease, malaria, dysentery, and other illnesses; volume five covers other miscellaneous pediatric conditions; volume six contains pediatric medicinal property verses and key prescriptions. This book places significant emphasis on pediatric massage therapy and elaborates on the author's personal experiences and insights; it also presents different perspectives on fingerprint inspection and various categories of fright diseases. Multiple Qing Dynasty block-printed and lithographic editions exist. A typeset edition was published after 1949.
