Written by Xiao Xiao-ting of the Qing Dynasty. It is one of the three major specialized works on leprosy in traditional Chinese medicine. Xiao's original work consisted of Compendium of Leprosy and Essential Guide to Leprosy, each in one volume, completed in the first year of the Jiaqing era (1796). Due to financial constraints, it was not published at the time. Later, it was edited and compiled by Yuan Chuntai and others, and the book was titled Complete Book of Leprosy and printed in the 16th year of the Daoguang era (1836). This version has not been seen to this day. After the 23rd year of Daoguang (1843), multiple editions were published under the title Fengmen Quanshu. In 1936, Qiu Ji-sheng included the book in the seventh volume of Collection of Rare Medical Books. In 1990, the People's Medical Publishing House re-edited and republished the book.

The book provides a relatively accurate understanding of the pestilential transmission routes and prevention methods of leprosy, and its descriptions of symptoms and physical signs are vivid and accessible. Regarding treatment principles, Xiao emphasized: "The primary focus should be on cooling and harmonizing the blood, supplemented by dispelling wind and dampness. Assess the deficiency or excess of original qi, and treat according to the six meridians?this is the essential path of treatment." He disagreed with the notion that the disease must recur or cannot be eradicated, believing that such outcomes were often due to interrupted or incomplete treatment. Xiao proposed nine internal treatment methods (general treatment, targeted treatment, gradual treatment, aggressive treatment, tonifying treatment, purging treatment, combined treatment, analogous treatment, and residual treatment) and six external treatment methods (acupuncture, moxibustion, burning, fumigation and washing, ulceration, and topical application). The book lists nearly 170 prescriptions, rich in content, and makes extensive use of Chaulmoogra Tree Seed pulp. Xiao's experience and academic insights have enriched the theoretical framework of traditional Chinese medicine in the differential diagnosis and treatment of leprosy. His treatment experiences were also adopted by leprosy prevention and treatment workers after the liberation.
