bubble_chart Description This is a work derived from ancient Indian prescriptions, serving as a simple treatment manual for common clinical Zabing, authored by Nagarjuna. The book was later introduced to the Tibetan region, where it was fully translated into Tibetan by the translator Nyima Gyaltsen from the Taba region, and was included in the Tengyur (Commentary Section) of the Tibetan Buddhist Canon, becoming the earliest medical work in the Canon. Based on an analysis of the book's content, it is possible that the translator made some minor adjustments and additions or deletions to the original text during the translation process, incorporating some commonly used drugs and prescriptions in the Tibetan region, such as frying Carthamus with cheese, the commonly used three fruits (Chebula Fruit, hairy Chebula Fruit, emblic leafflower fruit) in Tibetan medicine, and Trogopterus Dung, which are already commonly used in the prescriptions, indicating that the translator has made some modifications. This book has had a certain influence on the later development of Tibetan medicine.
