Ming Dynasty Dai Si-gong recorded Jingui Gouxuan, a book of 3 volumes. Ming Dynasty Dai Si-gong narrated Key to Diagnosis and Treatment, a book of 12 volumes. Yuan Dynasty Zhu Zhen-heng wrote Essentials of Active Methods, a book of 1 volume. Ming Dynasty Dai Si-gong compiled Classified Prescriptions of Key to Diagnosis and Treatment, a book of 4 volumes. Appended with Song Lian's Inscription on the Stone Tablet of the Late Mr. Zhu Danxi. Dai Jiuling wrote Biography of Danxi.

Danxi Xinfa is not Zhu's own writing, but was compiled by his disciples based on Mr. Danxi's usual narrations and clinical experiences. The book first lists the twelve meridian syndromes, treating not the disease but the prevention, excess harms and moderation controls, examining the disease mechanism without losing the qi's appropriateness, combining color and pulse can achieve Wan Quan, treating diseases must seek the root, and six other medical essays. Then it mainly focuses on internal medicine Zabing, also covering external, gynecological, pediatric, etc., sequentially describing over a hundred disease syndromes, and elaborating on their diagnosis and treatment one by one. It is a comprehensive work with both theory and rich clinical experience. Jingui Gouxuan, Key to Diagnosis and Treatment, Classified Prescriptions of Key to Diagnosis and Treatment (the latter two collectively known as Secret Key to Diagnosis and Treatment and Classified Prescriptions), are all compiled and written by Dai Si-gong, focusing on the differentiation and treatment of clinical diseases and the use of prescriptions. Generally, when discussing each disease, it first describes the cause and mechanism, then the pulse and treatment methods, and finally the prescription and medication. The listed diseases have both theory and prescriptions, clearly analyzed and systematically presented. This book reflects Zhu's academic thought of nourishing yin and his clinical experience in treating internal medicine miscellaneous diseases with emphasis on qi, blood, phlegm, and depression. In summary, this collection gathers the essence of Danxi's academic thoughts, thereby enriching the theory of traditional Chinese medicine and having a significant impact both domestically and internationally.
