It's located slightly above the inguinal region, 5 cun below the center of the umbilicus (Qugu (CV2)) and 2 cun lateral to the midline. It is located 2 cun lateral to the midpoint of the upper border of pubic symphysis, at the pulsation of femoral artery.
- Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "Below Guilai (ST29) and above groin";
- Xunjing Kaoxue Bian: "Six cun below navel";
- Zhenjiu Fengyuan: "Level with Qugu (CV2), 5 cun below the umbilicus"; the modern location follows Zhenjiu Fengyuan.
