This acupoint is used for both diagnosing and treating gallbladder diseases, hence the name "Dannang" (gallbladder).

On the upper lateral side of lower leg, 2 cun directly below the depression anterior and inferior to the head of fibula (Yanglingquan (GB34)).

- Muscles: peroneus longus and extensor digitorum longus muscles.
- Vessels: branches of anterior tibial artery and vein.
- Nerve: lateral sural cutaneous nerve and superficial peroneal nerve.

Acute and chronic cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, biliary ascariasis, biliary colic, antral gastritis, limb weakness and numbness, pain in chest and hypochondrium.
