bubble_chart Etymology
Xuan refers to the color of blue and black. This acupoint is located in the "green vein on Lieque (LU7)". Its vein (i.e. cephalic vein) is on the superficial surface of the dorsum of the wrist, stretching like a blue-black dragon. The acupoint is located there, hence the name Longxuan.

It is located on the radial side of the distal forearm, at the vein above the radial styloid process, 2 cun above the wrist crease, with 2 points on the left and right.

Between the flexor carpi radialis tendon and the abductor pollicis longus muscle, there is the cephalic vein, the superficial branch of the radial nerve, and the lateral cutaneous nerve of the forearm.
