Ju means big and bold; Que means the palace of the monarch. The point is close to the supreme place of the heart king, so it is called Juque (CV14); and it is also on the back, where the main meridian qi is transferred, so it is called Juqueshu.

Select a point on the posterior midline of the back, at the depression of the spinous process of the fourth thoracic vertebra.
