On back, on the posterior midline, in the depression below spinous process of 9th thoracic vertebra.

- Muscles: thoracolumbar fascia, supraspinous ligament, and interspinous ligament.
- Nerve: medial branch of posterior ramus of 9th thoracic nerve.
- Vessels: posterior branch of 9th intercostal artery and interspinous subcutaneous venous plexus.

Oblique insertion 0.5~1 cun; moxibustion is applicable.
bubble_chart Efficacy
Mania, fright epilepsy, spinal rigidity, back pain, stomach pain, jaundice, weakness or paralysis of limbs, muscle spasms and stiffness.

- Childhood epilepsy, convulsions, and opisthotonos: Jinsuo, Jiaosun and Chimai.
- Epilepsy: Jinsuo, Tongli.
