Celestial qi communicating with lung (Suwen-Yinyang Yingxiang Da Lun). The point belongs to hand taiyin lung meridian (LU), located on the upper arm, hence the name. Huangdi Neijing MingtangYang Shang-shan note: "The lung is the upper cover, the heaven of the viscera, and the lung qi returns to this point."

On the inner side of the arm, 3 cun below the head of the preaxillary crease, in the depression on the radial edge of the biceps brachii. Outside the 1/3 fold point on the line connecting the head of the anterior axillary crease and the ulnar end of the transverse cubital crease.
  • Lingshu-Hanrebing: "Axillary artery";
  • Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "3 cun below the armpit, in the artery along the inner side of Binao (LI14)";
  • Waitai Miyao: "Use the nose to sniff the arm, and mark the spot where the tip of the nose touches.";
  • Zhenfang Liuji: "When the arms hang down, it is level with the nipple."

  • Nerve: The superficial layer is the lateral brachial cutaneous nerve, and the deep layer is the musculocutaneous nerve.
