On forehead, directly above pupil, in the depression 1 cun above eyebrow, at lower one-third point of the line connecting the midpoint of eyebrow to anterior hairline (midline of the eye).

Insert subcutaneously toward the midpoint, beginning, or end of eyebrow, 0.5~1 cun. Moxibustion is not applied.

Improve vision, dispel wind

• Classical: headache, wind-induced head, dizziness, redness, swelling, and pain of eyes, night blindness, myopia, farsightedness, twitching eyelid, stiff neck with inability to turn, cold back with inability to warm .
• Modern: facial palsy, trigeminal neuralgia, supraorbital neuralgia, eyelid ptosis.
