bubble_chart Etymology Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing refers to it as "Qingling", Beiji Qianjin Yaofang (somewhere "cold") and Qianjin Yifang also use this name. "Qingling" (清泠), clear and cold; "yuan" (淵), deep water. The point is close to "Tianjing (TE10)", hence the name. In Qianjin, "quan" (泉) is used instead of "Yuan" (淵) to avoid the taboo of Emperor Gaozu of Tang, whose personal name was Li Yuan.

On extensor aspect of upper arm, 2 cun directly above the tip of elbow when elbow is flexed, 1 cun above Tianjing (TE10).
