On extensor aspect of forearm, 4 cun proximal to dorsal wrist crease, between ulna and radius, on the line connecting Yangchi (SJ 4) and the tip of elbow.

  • Muscle: between extensor digitorum and the origin of abductor pollicis longus; includes extensor pollicis brevis.
  • Nerve: posterior cutaneous nerve of forearm; deeper, posterior interosseous nerve of forearm.
  • Vessels: posterior interosseous artery and vein of forearm.

Perpendicular insertion is 0.5~1 cun, Moxibustion with moxa cone is 3~5 cun, moxibustion with moxa stick is for 5~15 minutes.
