Come together, meet. foot taiyang bladder meridian (BL) is divided into two branches on the back and thigh, and they meet at Weizhong (BL40) and go down. The acupoint is at that location, hence the name.

Behind the calf, 2 cun below the middle of the popliteal crease (Weizhong (BL40)), in the depression between the two heads of the gastrocnemius muscle, when Weizhong (BL40) on connection with Chengshan (BL57).

• Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing: "Two cun below the center of the knee pattern (pattern)",
• Qianjin Yaofang as "three cun" ,
• Zhenjiu Daquan as "One Cun"; now all from Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing.

• Nerve: medial sural cutaneous nerve, deep layer is tibial nerve.
• Vessel: small saphenous vein, deep layer is popliteal artery and vein.

Perpendicular insertion 1～1.5 cun. Moxibustion with moxa cone 3 to 5 times, moxibustion with moxa stick for 5 to 10 minutes.
