Rank, order; edge, edge. This point is located at the bottom of the second lateral line of the foot taiyang bladder meridian (BL) on the back, hence the name.

Buttocks, 3 cun lateral to the median sacral crest, and the 4th posterior sacral foramen (Xialiao (BL34) ) and at the level below the twenty-first vertebra, in the greater sciatic foramen.

  • Muscles: gluteus maximus, lower edge of piriformis muscle.
  • Nerve: The deep layer is the origin of the inferior gluteal nerve and the posterior femoral cutaneous nerve, and the lateral side is the sciatic nerve.
  • Vessels: inferior gluteal artery and vein.

Perpendicular insertion 1 to 3 cun. Moxibustion with moxa cone 3 to 7 times, moxibustion with moxa stick for 10 to 15 minutes.
