Open 3 cun lateral to the spinous process of the first lumbar vertebra (Xuanshu (GV5)), near the lower edge of the 12th rib, inwardly with Sanjiaoshu (BL22) Phase equal.

- Nerves: lateral branch of the posterior branch of the twelfth thoracic nerve, lateral branch of the posterior branch of the first lumbar nerve.
