Liao, also known as "窌", bone hole. The point is the first posterior sacral foramen, ranking at the top of the Baliao, hence its name.

The depression between the posterior midline of the sacrum and the posterior superior iliac spine is suitable for the first posterior sacral foramen, and is horizontal with Xiaochangshu (BL27).

  • Muscles: origin of erector spinae and origin of gluteus maximus.

  Directly opposite the posterior sacral foramen perpendicular insertion or slightly upward oblique insertion 1 to 2 cun. It should not be too deep to avoid injury to the rectum and bladder through the sacral foramen. Moxibustion with moxa cone 3 ~ 7 rounds, moxibustion with moxa stick 10 ~ 15 minutes.

  Manage the lower jiao and strengthen the waist and legs.

  • Classical: Lumbago, dysuria, enuresis, cold pain in waist and legs, prolapse of uterus, red leucorrhea, itching and pain in the vagina, irregular menstruation.
  • Modern: low back and leg pain, sciatica, oxytocin, induction of labor, pelvic inflammation, testicular inflammation, lower limb paralysis.
