Collect the fruits when they are ripe in winter, take out the seeds, dry them in the sun, process them of materia medica and then use them as medicine.

nux vomica is also called nux vomica; another vine of the bottle gourd peel family, cochinchina momordica seed, is also called cochinchina momordica seed. The two families are different and have different medicinal properties, so they should not be confused. nux vomica is round in shape.
