1. Used for warm febrile disease with heat invading the blood aspect, persistent high fever, unconsciousness, delirious speech, and other symptoms. It treats warm disease with heat entering the nutrient-blood, symptoms such as body heat, dysphoria, unconsciousness, delirious speech, crimson tongue, rapid pulse, or the appearance of macula and papule. It is often combined with Unprocessed Rehmannia Root, Scrophularia Root, Lonicera, Forsythia, etc.; if there is high fever with dysphoria and convulsions, it is often used with antelope horn, Gypsum, etc.
2. Used for hematemesis and epistaxis due to reckless movement of blood caused by heat. This product has the effect of cooling blood and is often combined with Unprocessed Rehmannia Root, Moutan Bark, Red Peony Root, etc.
