This product is the dried whole plant of Purslane Herb family. It grows in moist and fertile land in fields, roadsides and houses. Distributed in most parts of the country. Widely distributed in tropical and temperate zones around the world. It is an annual fleshy herb; harvested in summer and autumn. Pull out the whole plant, remove the remaining roots and impurities, wash it, steam or blanche it briefly and then dry it in the sun. Use fresh or raw.
