This product is the seed of radish (Raphanus sativus L.), an annual or biennial herbaceous plant of the Brassicaceae family. Produced all over the country. Harvest mature seeds in early summer and dry them in the sun. Use raw or stir-fried, and mash when used.

Acrid and sweet, neutral. act on spleen, stomach and lung channels.
Eliminating food and removing swelling, descending qi and resolving phlegm.
Decoct and take, 6~10g. Use wind phlegm when raw, and lowering qi resolving phlegm when stir-fried.
This product is pungent and dissipates qi, so it should be used with caution by those with qi deficiency, no food accumulation, and phlegm stagnation. It is not suitable to be used together with Ginseng.

The water extract of this product has certain inhibitory effects on Staphylococcus aureus and bacilli such as large intestine, dysentery, disease caused by cold, etc. Water immersion agents have inhibitory effects on a variety of skin fungi that cause nature of disease. Its aqueous extract has certain anti-inflammatory effects.
