1. Used for phlegm-heat cough and asthma. This product is cold in nature and slippery, with strong dispelling phlegm power. It is often combined with Pinellia, Skullcap Root, etc., such as in the Bamboo Juice Phlegm-Resolving Pill from "Shen's Zunsheng Book".
2. Used for apoplexy with phlegm confusion, fright epilepsy, manic and depressive psychosis, etc. This product enters the heart and liver meridians, excels in clearing up phlegm and discharging heat, and is effective for resuscitation and calming fright.
