bubble_chart Formula Principles
In the formula, Lonicera and Forsythia, with their pungent and cool properties, lightly disperse and expel pathogens, clearing heat and removing toxins, serving as the sovereign herbs. Mentha and Great Burdock Achene, also pungent and cool, disperse wind and clear heat, while fineleaf nepeta spike and Fermented Soybean, with their pungent dispersing nature, expel pathogens through the exterior and release the flesh, acting as the minister herbs. Platycodon Root and Liquorice Root clear heat, remove toxins, and benefit the throat, serving as the assistant herbs. Bamboo Leaf and Reed Rhizome resolve depression, discharge heat, promote fluid production, and quench thirst, acting as the envoy herbs. Together, these herbs synergistically achieve the effects of pungent and cool releasing of the flesh, dispersing wind-heat, relieving irritability, and benefiting the throat.
