bubble_chart Composition 150 gm of lard from the twelfth lunar month, 250 gm of yellow wax (both washed and fried), 120 gm of lead oxide, 120 gm of native copper (ground), 120 gm of litharge (ground), cinnabar (ground) (the amount of cinnabar in the formula is originally missing).
bubble_chart Preparation and Dosage
First, melt the lard, then add yellow wax. Allow it to cool, then add litharge, lead oxide, cinnabar, and native copper. Simmer over a gentle flame until it does not disperse when dropped into water. Stir evenly with a willow whisk in a cool place, then pour into a porcelain vessel. Continue stirring until it solidifies, forming pills as big as marbles. Use bamboo shoot skin or similar material to line them, and store only when completely cold. For crushed bones or bones crushed by heavy stones, first apply this medicine to dissolve and spread over the affected area, then set the splint. Additionally, make small pills as big as a phoenix tree seed, take 10 pills each time with scallion wine. For deep injuries, twist into strips and insert into the wound; for shallow injuries, apply with oiled paper; for severe cases, use rush stems as splints. If the medicine's effect dissipates and pain is felt again, take another dose and the pain will cease. For severe pain, applying the medicine will stop it immediately.
