This product is a perennial herbaceous plant of Rush Pith family, Rush Pith (Juncus effusus L.). It is found all over the country and is mainly produced in Jiangsu, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guangzhou and other places. 1. Used for difficulty in urination, astringent and painful discharge. Rush Pith is sweet, mild in nature and cold in nature. It has the effect of draining dampness and purging heat. It can treat edema, fever, short, red, astringent and painful urination. It can be used with Gardenia, Talc and other heat-clearing and diuretic products. Use with medicine, such as Danxi Xinfa Qi-Dispersing Powder. This product has weak medicinal power and should only be used for people with mild illness, or it can be used in conjunction with other heat-clearing and diuretic drugs.
2. It is used for heart heat and irritability, night crying and fright epilepsy in children. Rush Pith can clear heart fire. If there is excessive heat in the heart meridian, insomnia, sores on the mouth and tongue, or short and red urine, it can be used to induce the heat in the heart meridian to flow downward and be expelled from the urine. It is often used with Lophatherum Herb, Gardenia is equivalent. If used for exuberance of heart fire, restlessness, night crying or fright epilepsy in children, this product can be taken as a single decoction, or combined with Bamboo Leaf, cicada slough, etc. Clearing the heart and tranquilizing the spirit are used together with medicine.
