[Indications]
- It is used for impediment diseases, especially for those with dampness-heat bias. Symptoms include joint pain and difficulty in flexion and extension. This product is pungent and dispersing, bitter and cold, capable of dispelling wind and dampness, clearing away heat, dredging collaterals and relieving pain. Often used together with Coix Seed, Talc, Silkworm Feces, such as Impediment-Diffusing Decoction; If wind-cold-dampness impediment, joint pain, often used with Aconite Lateral Root, Cassia Central Bark, White Atractylodes Rhizome , such as Stephania Tetrandra Soup.
- For edema, phlegm and fluid syndrome/pattern. This product reduces diarrhea, is good at walking downwards, can clear dampness-heat, facilitate urination, and is especially good at lower energizer bladder dampness-heat. This product is extremely bitter (24th solar term), easily hurts stomach qi, should be used with caution by those who are weak and suffer from yin deficiency and poor appetite. Dutohmanspipe Fruit family Cocculus Root (Cocculus Root) is nephrotoxic and has been banned in Taiwan.
