First, grind the two ingredients into a fine powder. Then, take 12 round black-faced generals (note: generals refer to ripe round jujubes). Place a large bowl with 500 ml of water, add the generals into the bowl, and steam it over rice for several boils. After that, add the two sages into the bowl and remove the black generals, discarding them. Close your eyes and wash the outer eyelids with your hand, ideally four times a day, three times each. The steaming of the black generals should continue until their flavor is fully extracted.
