Heat sesame oil in a pan until it boils, then add nux vomica seeds and fry them. When the seeds make a slight popping sound, take one and cut it in half with a knife. Check that the inside is a purplish-red color, then grind it into a fine powder. Mix this powder with the previously prepared earthworm powder, and combine evenly. Use flour paste to form pills the size of mung beans. Take 0.9 to 1.2 grams before sleep, swallowed with salt water. For children aged five or six, administer 0.6 grams, swallowed with brown sugar water. If not made into pills, the powder can also be taken directly.
