[Indications]

kidney deficiency means miscarriage; pregnancy means bleeding, threatened abortion, retarded growth of fetus.

In the prescription, Dodder Seed tonifying the kidney and replenishing essence, a strong kidney can retardation of fetus; Chinese Taxillus Herb, Dipsacus tonify the liver Kidney, strengthens Chong and Ren, making fetal qi disease strong; Donkey-hide Gelatin nourishes Yin blood, makes Chong and Ren blood prosperous, and then fetal qi disease will be strengthened. The four medicines work together to tonify the kidney to calm fetus.

[Addition and subtraction]

1. For patients with qi deficiency, add Ginseng 60 grams (two ounces);
2. For those with large qi sinking, add raw Astragalus Root 90 grams (three liang) ; ;
3. If there is fever, add Unprocessed Rehmannia Root 60 grams (two ounces).
