In the prescription, Scrophularia Root clears heat, enriches yin, cools blood and dissipates stagnation; oyster shell softens hardness and dissipating mass; Fritillaria Bulb clearing heat and resolving phlegm. The combination of the three medicines can rejuvenate the yin and remove heat, resolve phlegm and make scrofula disappear on its own. It can also be used for subcutaneous nodules and gall tumors caused by phlegm fire agglomeration.
