Chinese Angelica (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) 6gm
Prepared Rehmannia RootYellow (Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata) 9~15g
Dried Tangerine Peel (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae) 4.5gm
Pineilia (Rhizoma Pinelliae) 6gm
Poria (Poria) 6gm
Liquorice Root (Radix Glycyrrhizae) roasted 3gm

Add 400 ml of water, add 3 to 7 slices of ginger, fry until 280 or 320 ml, administer while warm before meals.

Nourishing yin resolving phlegm.

[Indications]

The lungs are cold due to kidney deficiency, and the water is phlegm, or the elderly are yin deficient, the blood is insufficient, external wind-cold, cough, vomiting, and wheezing are often phlegm.

[Addition and subtraction]

  • If the stool is loose and wet, go to Chinese Angelica and add Chinese Yam;
  • If phlegm is filled with qi stagnation, the chest and ribs are unhappy. If the pudendal coldness is severe and the cough does not go away, add 1.5 to 2.1 grams of Asarum;
  • For those with exterior pathogen Hanre, add 3 to 6 grams of Bupleurum.
